Compared to the value of exports in the same month of the previous financial year, information technology exports maintained a healthy 20 percent increase in July 2020. Pakistan's State Bank Pakistan claims that exports of information technology and technology-related services increased by $33 million between July 2019 and July 2021, as opposed to the exports in July 2018.

Remittance transfers, which grew from 40% to 20% in June 2021, went down by 6% in June 2021 to $210 million. The chief executives of IT exporting companies claimed that increased export growth would be seen in the next quarter, as long as the incentives are put into effect correctly.

By offering monetary rewards, assistance with tax issues, and a resolution of corporate profits, the government is easing concerns over international marketing efforts, specialised training programmes, and reduced withholding taxes. IT export-industry exporters have been awaiting this declaration for some time now, with an ambition to increase the sector's exports by a more significant amount next year.

While exporting IT, services will increase from $200 million to $300 million per month. Relevant firms are asked to expedite the execution of the incentive packages. This will complement the government's objective to expand foreign exchange reserves by boosting the country's export.

They suggested that foreign direct investment (often called FDI) spur job creation and skilled young employment.
