TruKKer, a cargo management firm based in the United Arab Emirates, has officially purchased TruckSher, a company established in Pakistan, to extend its activities in the region. As stated in a news report, this is TruKKer's first-ever purchase, and it is geared to the company's objective of expanding into Central Asian and SAARC countries.

In an interview with the UAE's The National, the business's CEO, Gaurav Biswas, claimed that to take advantage of the development potential in the region, the company was also preparing for a possible Saudi Arabia Tadawul exchange listing.

TruKKer Anish Garg, the chief operating officer, addressed the progress he saw online, where he observed:

We've been working on a development plan for the Pakistan ground transportation industry for some time already. We're enthusiastic about the opportunities the sector presents to automation and technological advancement in a historically fractured and traditional field. We are delighted to welcome TruKKer to the TruckSher Team and accelerate their path to continuing to lead the land freight business in Pakistan with superior engineering goods and procedures."

Abid Butt, Managing Director of TruckSher, expressed his delight at the new partnership:

"We're thrilled to be working with TruKKer, and we're eager to tap into their knowledge and apply it to our success in Pakistan."

TruKKer and TruckSher hope to help the logistics service business in the region by introducing advanced ground operations that cover everything from loading to delivery.

TruKKer was founded in 2015 and has since grown to include a fleet of more than 35,000 vehicles operating in significant marketplaces in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and other Gulf countries. Through the entry of TruckSher, the firm now appears poised to do more business in commodities, FMCG, and associated electronics equipment through the Lahore and Karachi-based venture.

The World Bank's International Finance Corporation and Saudi-based venture fund Riyad TAQNIA Fund are among the backers of TruKKer, an app focusing on the Middle East and North Africa (IFC).
