Walee, an Islamabad-based influencer marketing network, has received $2.7 million in initial financing from Z2C, a Pakistani communications firm. During 2017-19, the Ignite National Technological Fund sponsored Walee as a technology R and D initiative. The initiative has successfully generated complete consumer profiles to assist companies in better allocating limited marketing expenditures to maximise overall returns on investment. The solution is Pakistan's first cloud-based Big Data and AI-powered Consumer Profiling SaaS Platform (software as a service).
Asim Shahryar Husain, CEO of Ignite, said on occasion,
It's encouraging to witness the results of Ignite's financing and support for many technological R and D initiatives over the last decade. Many Ignite-funded companies, including Byonyks, Bakhabar Kissan, and Knowledge Platforms, have successfully marketed their products/services and received funding. Ignite will continue to fuel Pakistan's innovation ecosystem by financing its expanding National Incubation Centers and technical R and D initiatives.
The Artificial Intelligence / Data Science Martech platform assists companies and engages them with prospective targets by mining multi-dimensional consumer matrices in real-time and what affects them.
The Martech platform known as "Walee" was established in July 2019 for companies and influencers, and it has since grown to become Pakistan's biggest and fastest-growing Influencer network. Users may make money online from anywhere by participating in brand campaigns and Walee Shops. The startup has over 50,000 influencers on its network, with a combined reach of 100 million followers. According to the website, Walee has registered over 5,000 brands so far.
