Following widely held expectations, Ramiz Raja, the former Pakistani cricketer who is mainly likely to be elected Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on September 13, has started meeting people in the state's cricket structure. Raja stayed at the National High-Performance Center on Wednesday for 6 hours.
Sources suggest that the PCB's anticipated future president met with Chef Selector Mohammad Wasim and discussed the national side's existing selection method.
Moreover, officials addressed the teams for the next tour of New Zealand and the next T20 World Cup, and the top selector was asked about recent picks and the committee's general long-term vision.
According to reports, Raja met with Pakistani captain Babar Azam and the two addressed the concerns and issues facing the national team.
After testing positive virus, Misbahul Haq, the head coach of the Pakistan team, was quarantined in the West Indies and is set to meet Ramiz Raja upon his return to Pakistan.
The PCB's likely next chairman met with the coaches of Pakistan's provinces and reviewed issues concerning the management of local cricket teams.
