Morris Garages (MG) Pakistan has had certain issues since its debut in Pakistan last year. MG's experience here has not been smooth, to say the least, from being accused of under-invoicing fraud to having many of its vehicles destroyed while being moved.

According to a recent video on social media, a truck delivering brand new MG automobiles to a dealership tumbled over near the Hyderabad toll plaza on the M-9 Motorway. The accident's cause is yet unknown.

MG Pakistan responded to the event on social media today, stating that the collision damaged seven of its "state-of-the-art MG HS" SUVs.

“It makes us wish in disappointment that if the carrier had the safety features of an MG HS.” MG said in an official statement, referring to the “unreliable (vehicle) transportation” services in Pakistan.

This is a smart statement since it kills two birds with one stone: it promotes the MG HS as a safe vehicle.

In Pakistan, incidents like these are becoming more common. Several vehicle carriers have reportedly been involved in high-speed road accidents due to irresponsible driving, resulting in losses of millions of rupees for both the firms and their clients.

Before this accident, MG Pakistan published the chassis numbers of damaged vehicles in a similar accident to ease worries that it would sell damaged cars to consumers.

The general public and media outlets well received the effort, and the business stated in an official statement that it plans to repeat the program in the future since it will assist consumers to avoid shady transactions when acquiring HS SUVs.
