They strengthen Lexus as the premier premium brand is a key strategic aim for Toyota's parent business. Lexus aims to define its brand by delivering various V8, V6 hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicles within the next four years. At least ten rechargeable vehicles will be available, with four of them being SUVs, such as the LF-Z electrified, the brand's first electric hybrid crossover.

It will hit stores in January 2022 and will have the same design features as the present LX, but it will have a more stylish grille and a more dramatic appearance on the road. The next generation of Toyota's full-sized SUV uses the present model's 5.7-litre V8, which makes 383 hp and is paired with the 8-speed automated transmission with 4WD.

Then, in October 2022, Lexus will reveal its new RX model, which will be available with either a 3.5-litre V6 hybrid or a four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. Though business stylists only plan to make minor alterations to the outside, interior designers plan to extensively enhance the model's elegance and feature.

The brand-new Lexus LQ will be at the top of Lexus' SUV series, set to hit dealerships in early 2022. The LQ is the first of a novel design style that will debut in Lexus production vehicles. It features a more robust version of the brand's distinctive spindle grille. It will be the first Lexus SUV to have Toyota's all-wheel-drive TNGA-L design based on rear-drive.

The LQ's structure is versatile enough to accommodate gasoline, hybrid, electric, and fuel cell powertrains. However, it will most likely only use two kinds of engines and transmissions, including the LS's 416-horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 and a 350-horsepower hybrid system. However, the flagship model may also be offered with a V8 engine option.
