Although Haval's SUVs have been on the market for a few months, they are not as common on Pakistani roads as the rest of their competitors. However, this may change now that the firm has announced that it will begin delivering the Jolion SUVs to clients in Pakistan.

The Haval Jolion is a small crossover SUV produced by the Chinese manufacturer Haval.

The business made its debut in Pakistan in collaboration with Sazgar Engineering Works Limited. The government granted greenfield status earlier this year under the Automotive Development Policy (ADP) 2016-21.

The MG HS, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, and Proton X70 are also competitors for the Jolion. It features a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 220 Newton-meters of torque. All of this power is sent only to the front wheels through a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.

Car Features:

  • 360-Degree Camera
  • Front and Rear Parking Sensors
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Collision Warning
  • Stability and Traction Control
  • Autonomous Braking
  • Six Airbags
  • Panoramic Sunroof
  • Dual-Zone Temperature Control
  • Contemporary Multimedia System and More.

This year, Haval had to postpone car reservations twice. The first time was because all units were sold out in two days, and the second time was due to supply chain problems.

Within a few months of its release, the Jolion's price has also been increased twice. The people widely panned the latest price increase, which brought it too well over Rs. 6 million.

It remains to be seen how Haval succeeds in Pakistan's increasingly competitive market.
