Hyundai Nishat has informed its customers that Tucson's delivery has been delayed and that expecting consumers will be reimbursed. It sent a warning explaining that the delay is due to global scarcity of the semiconductor chip and that vehicle deliveries to clients may take "a bit longer. "It went on to say that, to make up for the inconvenience, “every Tuscon invoiced later than the tentative delivery month on PBO form, we will be giving away 1 year/25,000 km free periodic maintenance (whichever comes first) in addition to markup”.

The message also stated that the company appreciates the customers' patience and is strives to minimize the wait.

Hasan Mansha, the CEO of Hyundai Nishat, informed a customer in a letter last month that the pandemic had affected the worldwide supply chain, As a result, critical components such as semi-conductor chips are not arriving at the assembly facility on schedule.

Since numerous technological elements in automobiles rely on these chips to work properly, their scarcity has hampered production and caused delivery delays.
