Despite being in London since November 2019, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had a Covid-19 vaccine at a Lahore vaccination facility, according to the Nadra site.
The Punjab government has suspended the MS and a senior doctor at Lahore's Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital in response to the hospital's negligence involving former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's fraudulent vaccine admission.
Following the event, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar formed a three-member investigation committee comprised of Dr Muneer Ahmed, Dr Salman Ahmed, and Dr Sultan Haroon.
According to Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi, the panel will investigate the physicians and other staff at the vaccination facility to identify who is to blame and will provide its findings within the next 24 hours.
The Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department was also made aware of the issue and asked to take necessary action against the offenders.
Earlier in July, Lahore police arrested three primary and secondary healthcare (PSH) department employees on suspicion of fabricating Covid vaccination entries at the Expo Centre.
The authorities had accepted a bribe from five individuals in exchange for giving an AstraZeneca vaccination that had not been legally given. Still, the employees had created fictitious entries in the record.
