In Poland, Netflix has stated that it will test its customers' ability to play mobile games on their Android devices. When you open the app, paid members can try two games, 'Stranger Things: 1984' and 'Stranger Things 3' — titles already accessible on Apple App, Google Play, and other platforms in the latest update, including pc and consoles.

While the games are available to Netflix customers through the center tab of the Netflix mobile app, users will still be referred to the Google Play Store to download them.

To access the content, members must verify their Netflix account details.

Netflix subscribers can pick up wherever they left off in the game by tapping "Play" on the Netflix app or starting it immediately from their smartphone.

Netflix spokesman said for the upcoming.

"We are still in the very early stages, and we are going to put in a lot of effort to ensure that our experience is the best possible in the coming months without having to include advertisements or in-app purchases,"

For years, the firm invested in gaming and saw the possible connection between its successful shows and a larger entertainment universe. In a gaming presentation at the 2019 E3 event, Netflix announced partnerships with Roblox and Fortnite and its intentions to introduce new games in the "Stranger Things" franchise.

On mobile, Netflix has worked with the Allen gaming studio BonusXP in Texas, which has rebranded "Stranger Things: The Game" as its first game for Netflix to distinguish it from the other games better.

"Stranger Things: 1984!" The game is in between the first and second seasons of Stranger Things, although the third season is available as a playable experience.

While public information in app stores, Netflix refuses to comment on the games' success regarding how many users or installations they had.

Netflix claims that anyone in Poland will need to have a subscription to access the titles, as they are currently only available to those who are already subscribers.

However, there would be no effect on existing players who have downloaded the Google Play game from the previous one. It will not impact their gameplay; they can usually continue playing or even re-download the game from their account catalog if they used it to have it loaded. However, the only way for new players to obtain the game is through downloading it from the Netflix app.

Netflix explained that the trial is meant to learn more about how mobile games work with its customers. The company wants how they can improve the firm's overall functionality.

Its original market was Poland because its gaming-savvy populace made it appear like a good initial choice for such input.

Netflix said they were unsure when this program would be expanded to some other nations.

The company said it would introduce mobile games to its portfolio, describing gaming as "another additional content category" for its company in the same way that it previously expanded into new movies, animations, and scripted TV.

The news came after a steep drop in new customers following the pandemic-fueled surge in streaming. Netflix's subscription base in North America had a substantial drop of over 430,000 customers in the second quarter of 2017, its third quarterly loss in ten years.

Furthermore, the company offered projections for the coming period that were less than analysts had predicted, with predictions of a subscriber base increase of 3.5 million, compared to the experts' 5.9 million estimates. In addition, Netflix blamed weak growth on a lack of content, blaming some of that on the production delays caused by COVID.
