Resident Evil RE: Verse will also launch an online multiplayer component next month.

Capcom has announced the addition of downloadable content to Resident Evil Village. The announcement came at an E3 2021 Showcase devoid of new developments. A brief message stated that DLC had begun production "due to great demand."

While there was no further information provided, the suggestion is that we may see more content featuring Lady Dimitrescu, the game's most famous character. Another possibility is the return of fan-favourite Ada Wong, originally slated to appear in Resident Evil Village, as indicated by early concept art unlockable in the game. Of course, it may be some time before this additional DLC is released, as there seemed to have been no plans before the game's release, whereas Resident Evil 7 already included a season pass.

Resident Evil RE: Verse, an online multiplayer game, will be released next month and accessible for anybody who has purchased Resident Evil Village.

The publisher stated it would focus on the resident Evil Village, Hunter Rise, Hunter Monster Stories 2, and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles in advance of Capcom E3 2021 Showcase.

That's precisely what we got, true to its word. Nonetheless, it released another emotive tale trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2, as well as confirmation that a free trial demo will be available on June 25th. When the complete game launches on July 9th, players will carry over their saved game progress.
