Nintendo announces that at its E3 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation, Kayuza from the Tekken combat games is the latest character to join Super Smash Bros. Further details will be pledged during a future speech on 28 June.

The character is Nintendo's flagship character, joining characters such as Street Fighter's Ryu or Terry Bogard of Fatal Fury.

Kayuza is the fifth DLC character that should be added to the Super Smash Bros. In February, the previous additions included Min from Arms; Steve and Alex from Minecraft; Sephiroth Villain from.Final Fantasy VII; and Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade. Both count as one character.

The Pass Fighters is 29.99 dollars for six characters, with a final character — who is the last fighter in Smash Bros. — to be announced later this year, except for any changes. Players not interested in the complete collection also pay $5.99 for each individual character.
