During his address to the United Nations, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson highlighted Pakistan's 10 billion tree initiative, yet another acknowledgment to Prime Minister Imran Khan's efforts to reduce the impacts of "climate change."

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has encouraged global leaders to follow Imran Khan's example and plant 10 billion trees, stating that mankind must "grow up" and confront climate change.

"I ask everyone to follow in the footsteps of Pakistan's Imran Khan, who has committed to plant 10 billion trees," he said. Around the globe, the billion tree initiative has been highly lauded as a significant step toward mitigating environmental harm.

In his speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, Johnson said that it is now or never if the world is to meet its goal of limiting global temperature increase to 1.5 "degrees Celsius" over "pre-industrial" levels. He encouraged "other nations to follow Prime Minister Imran Khan's example of planting 10 billion trees." Less is more in this case.
