According to the ISPR, the Chinese envoy Nong Rong met with General Qamar Javed Bajwa and spoke with him about the current conduction in Afghanistan. In an ISPR statement, the discussion was about areas of shared concern, the status of the Afghan case, and regional stability were all reviewed in-depth, among other things.

A day earlier, Germany's foreign minister, Heiko Maas, had met with Pakistan's Army Chief in Rawalpindi, the Pakistan Armed Forces' (PAF) media wing announced.

ISPR covered various issues of mutual interest in the meeting and the global security situation and international ties.

The army chief stated that "Pakistan places a high value on its relationships with Germany" and reiterated his willingness for the two countries to work together to benefit each other.

According to the ISPR, the Berlin dignitary praised Pakistan's current regional peace and

security efforts and appreciated Pakistan's aid during the Kabul emergency evacuation.
