The match officials for Pakistan vs India's highly anticipated T20 World Cup showdown have been revealed. On-field umpires Marais Erasmus of South Africa and Chris Gaffaney of New Zealand will preside over the action, with Australia's David Boon serving as the match referee.

On October 24, at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Pakistan and India will square off in the tournament's Super 12s phase. After the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, these two sides haven't played each other since.

Neutral umpires will referee all of the T20 World Cup games. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, neutral umpires have never been employed.

For the mega-event, the International Cricket Council (ICC) appointed a panel of 16 officials, including four match officials. Both Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza, Pakistani umpires who are members of the International Cricket Council's Elite Panel of Umpires, will referee the event.

While the event's first round and Super 12s round officials have been released, the ICC will make the list of tournament officials for the semi-finals and final available as soon as it is available.
