Price cuts, however minor, are a positive development in Pakistan's automobile sector, indicating that efforts are being taken in the right direction.

Several manufacturers announced price cuts for their car portfolios last week, and Master-Changan Motors has now announced price cuts as well over the weekend.

The following cars will now be sold at the revised rates, which will take effect immediately:

Those who had booked the vehicles at the previous prices and are waiting for them to be delivered will be given the cars at a lower cost, and the final payments will be adjusted, according to the carmaker.

The durability of these price reductions is uncertain, as US Dollar rates are gradually rising again, and logistical problems persist amid the threat of a fourth wave of the epidemic in Pakistan.
