In Balochistan, a crackdown on non-custom paid vehicles will begin.

Customs officers said. Automobiles that have not been customs-paid will be confiscated in Balochistan's capital and near the Afghan border. Action will also be taken against auto dealerships that sell NCP cars.

This crackdown will commence next month.

According to the Balochistan customs chief collector, first information reports (FIRs) would be issued for the possession of non-customs-paid vehicles.

The action is being carried out in accordance with federal government and federal ombudsman instructions.

According to FBR officials, the value of items seized in the first seven months of the current fiscal year is almost equal to that of confiscated goods the previous year. They are estimated to be worth Rs36 billion.

According to the FBR, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) seized Rs11.2 billion in non-custom paid cars between July and January.

During the period January-August 2020/2021, a total of Rs41 billion in smuggled goods were confiscated, compared to Rs22 billion during the same time the previous year.
