Pakistan's Information and Telecommunications Minister Issues Orders to Improve Internet and Mobile Networks.

Syed Amin Ul Haque, Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications ordered that the country's mobile network and internet services be improved.
While chairing the 12th meeting of the Prime Minister's Taskforce on IT and Telecom here on Wednesday, the minister further emphasised the need for talent development. Dr Sohail Rajput, Secretary IT, Chairman P@SHA Barkan Saeed, and MD Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) Osman Nasir were also in attendance.
The conference included topics such as cyber security, data protection, spectrum auctions, connectivity, and fiberization. In his address to the conference, Federal Minister for Information Technology Syed Amin Ul Haque said that firm directives are being given to enhance the country's mobile network and Internet services.
More efforts would be made to enhance skills and market Pakistan throughout the globe, he added. He said that good outcomes would be obtained as a consequence of the Taskforce recommendations being implemented.
Earlier, meeting attendees expressed complete satisfaction with all of the Ministry of IT and Telecom's efforts.
A comprehensive briefing on measures for the growth of the IT and telecom sectors and other policies was also provided at the conference. Senior officials from MOITT were present during the meeting.
