We've previously seen 3D renderings of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+, but we now have our first glimpse at the S22 Ultra. These renderings reveal a distinct camera design as well as evidence of how Samsung may discontinue the Note series.

They come from the dependable @OnLeaks, implying that we may be looking at Samsung's next flagship.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has an unmistakable similarity to a Galaxy Note smartphone. The phone's edges are flat, and the display is symmetrical overall. However, unlike prior Note devices, it does not seem to feature a curved display.

The S Pen slot at the bottom is the main attraction here, which leads us to think that Samsung may be done with the Note series for good.

The S22 Ultra is said to feature a 5,000 mAh battery. Thus it seems that Samsung has rearranged the internals to accommodate the S Pen.

The S22 Ultra seems to have taken the hardware from the S21 Ultra for the quad-camera configuration.

The camera arrangement is the same, but it's in a smaller P-shaped cutout, unlike any other phone we've seen. The front-facing camera with a punch-hole seems to be the same.

We won't get any formal word from Samsung until the first quarter of 2022 when the Galaxy S21 range is anticipated to be unveiled. The Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra should all be included.
