Everything You Should Know About the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
ByFaisal Chughtai | Published date:
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, like last year's S20 and S20 FE, will be a cheaper variant of the basic Galaxy S21. The phone is scheduled to be released next month, and we've already learned a lot about it due to extensive leaks over the last several weeks.
Display and Design Overview
The S21 FE will have the same design as the standard Galaxy S21 have. The only change is that, unlike the original, the primary camera cutout will be the same colour as the back panel. It will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
In addition, it will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor underneath the display as well as IP68 water and dust protection.
Storage and Internals Overview
The S21 FE has been seen on certification websites, indicating that it will be powered by either the Exynos 2100 or the Snapdragon 888. As usual, the Snapdragon model will be sold in the United States and Korea, while the Exynos model will be sold in India and Europe. There will be 8GB of RAM onboard and storage choices of 128GB or 256GB. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 11 and One UI 3.1.
Cameras Overview
The rear cameras will include a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, according to leaked promotional pictures and user manuals.
The front-facing camera with a punch-hole will likewise be a 12MP shooter.
Pricing and Battery Overview
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will have a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, which is somewhat more than the standard S21.
However, a charger will not be included in the retail package.
The S21 FE is anticipated to be available in violet, light green, grey, and white colours in the first part of October. It will most likely cost $100 cheaper than the standard Galaxy S21.
