The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be equipped with a Tensor processor, a custom-designed microprocessor made by Samsung. This is comparable to Apple's A-series processors. The specifications of this chip are unclear, but we will learn more about it in the following weeks.

Google claims that the Pixel 6 will be the quickest, smartest, and most secure Pixel yet. One of the most notable aspects of this chip is its AI capabilities, which apparently outperform everything Google has developed thus far. Indeed, Google claims that the primary reason for investing in a bespoke processor was to integrate their own AI features that they couldn't before.
These AI functions will be deployed on the new camera system, which will have a wide and ultrawide sensor but just a 4x telephoto lens on the Pro model. The camera setup's specifications are yet unclear.
According to several hands-on reviews, the Pixel 6 Pro offers higher video quality than the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The display on both phones has also been upgraded. The Pixel 6 will have a 90Hz display, while the Pixel 6 Pro will have a 120Hz panel. They will both support a single punch-hole selfie camera.

Google has already verified the design of the Pixel 6 series, which is significantly different from its predecessors, as shown in the photos above.
The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are scheduled to be released in October of this year.
