Due to supply problems and the US prohibition, the Huawei Mate 50's debut has been uncertain for the whole year. Several stories have previously indicated prospective launch dates, but one thing they all have in common is that the launch has been postponed until 2022.
According to a recent rumor from reputable source Digital Chat Station, Huawei's next flagship series will debut in Q1 2022. The source did not provide a specific launch date, but if past predictions are correct, we may anticipate a March 2022 debut. The Huawei Mate 50 was speculated to come in 2020; considering the P50 range was postponed until July 2021, we anticipate the Mate 50 series to be delayed.
The Mate 50 will most likely be equipped with Qualcomm's next-generation flagship CPU, the Snapdragon 898. However, unlike other smartphones with the same chipset that support 5G, the Mate 50 may only support 4G connection owing to the US embargo.
The phone is also believed to use an LTPO display with the ability to alter its screen refresh rate to save battery life. This implies that we will also see a 120Hz display. It will also include satellite connection, similar to the iPhone 13, and will be utilized when a cellular network is not accessible. For this capability, Huawei will rely on the Beidou Satellite System.
