Microsoft and Google conclude their six-year legal battle

In 2015, Microsoft and Google entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to avoid litigation between the two businesses. This was generally successful for the most part. Instead of renewing the arrangement, both parties have decided to terminate it.
The conditions of this agreement dictate that both firms address their problems at the highest level rather than through the courts. Other areas of business collaboration for the two organizations include security and quantum computing.
The truce was agreed upon as a method for the two prominent technology firms to compete without lawsuits. Still, those with direct knowledge of the situation have stated that the accord is faltering. According to these sources, Google and Microsoft have allegedly used "dirty methods" to undermine each other in business over the years.
Another example is that now that the cease-fire has ended, the two firms fight each other over Australia's contentious media law. As a result, Google is accusing Microsoft of regressing to its old methods.
A new series of antitrust rules targeting Big Tech has recently started to be implemented, and many of these firms have voiced their disapproval of the initiative. As long as various entities authorize these regulations, it remains but let's see how effective they will be.
