Sony has upgraded its ZV digital camera range once more. One of the new ZV E10's standout features is its interchangeable lens camera. The ZV E10 is essentially a scaled-down version of the Alpha 6400 that lacks a few functions but offers more vlogging-centric features in their place.

This camera employs the same 24.2MP APS-C sensor used in Sony's Alpha series. Its S-Log2, S-Log3, and HLG profiles can capture 4K movies at 30 frames per second across a broad dynamic range.

The a6400's flip-up display has been replaced with a single hinge display that can flip out and turn the other way while filming oneself. The electronic viewfinder has been deleted, and you are now only able to use the touchscreen display viewfinder.

Because the ZV E10 is a simplified camera designed for novices, it offers simple, fast switch buttons that allow you to move between settings and functions with a single click. It also includes a separate microphone and headphone connections, and the outdated micro-USB port has been replaced with a USB C port.

There is now a visible video recording button at the top, allowing you to begin recording even if the camera is facing away. The red light on the front and the red border surrounding the viewfinder indicate if the camera is rolling.

At the top, there is also a big stereo microphone with a wind muffler.

Aside from that, the ZV E10 is identical to the Sony a6400, which is fantastic given its low price of $700. With the optional package and the power zoom lens, it can cost up to $800. It will be available in both black and white in August.
