Motorola has released a 5G version of the Moto G50, announced in March of this year. The 5G variant is almost identical to the original except for the updated processor and fingerprint sensor.
For the time being, it is only available in Australia, but it should be available in other markets shortly.

The 6.5-inch LCD display with 720p resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz is still present. The front design is the same, but the back features a square-shaped camera changed instead of a vertical arrangement. The fingerprint sensor has also been relocated to the side, near the power button.
The Snapdragon 480 processor has been replaced with the Dimensity 700 SoC, however, the memory configuration remains the same (4GB/128GB). It may still be expanded with a microSD card. The 5,000 mAh battery is capable of 15W rapid charging through the USB C connection.
The new camera system retains the same 48MP main sensor, as well as a 2MP depth assist camera and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera with the waterdrop notch has a resolution of 13MP.
The Motorola G50 5G will cost $289 and will be available in Meteorite Gray and Green.
