The OnePlus 9 RT, a lower-cost version of the OnePlus 9, is expected to be released soon. It is rumoured to go live next week, on October 15, but only in a few markets, including India and China.

The OnePlus 9 RT was recently spotted on the 3C certification platform, and it's now making the rounds on Geekbench, implying that the company is internally testing the phone's performance. The Geekbench listing, as usual, reveals some of the phone's key specifications.

According to the listing, the OnePlus 9 RT will be powered by a Qualcomm chipset codenamed Lahaina. However, the configuration of the chipset shown in the listing and its codename indicate that it is the Snapdragon 888. In addition, the phone will have 12GB of RAM and will run Android 11 out of the box. The model number MT2111 is thought to be on the model heading to India.

As previously reported, the OnePlus 9 RT will include a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 120hz, a 50MP triple camera on the back, a 16MP front camera and a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging capability. At launch, it will most likely feature storage choices of 128GB and 256GB. We anticipate that the teaser campaign will begin sometime next week, revealing official information ahead of the launch.
