Samsung has a history of releasing two flagship lines each year, the Galaxy S in the first six months and the Galaxy Note Series in the following six. Unfortunately, the Note series will not be released this year, so if you want to try out the company's S Pen pen soon, the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will come to your rescue.
Ice Universe, a smartphone leaker, claims that the "Galaxy Note series is gone for good and the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra will take its place." It further says that the phone would resemble the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and have the brand's famous S Pen stylus.
Aside from the rumour mill and a few untrustworthy occurrences, a short spec list for the next Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has surfaced online.
The device will have a 6.81-inch display with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Ice Universe has revealed that the new gadget will be powered by the much-anticipated Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor and an AMD mRDNA GPU on the performance front. Regarding camera configuration, Samsung is anticipated to feature its newest flagship ISOCELL GN2 offering as the primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a pair of 10MP telephoto and periscope lenses with 10x optical zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 range is just a few months away, and rumours regarding the phone will only become more frequent in the coming months.
