Over the last month, the iQOO 8 series has been featured in several teasers and leaks, and we've even seen hands-on pictures of the devices. Vivo has also announced a release date, stating that it will be available on August 17.

The poster's text reads, "Full Control on the verge of iQOO 8 Series Conference," which is most likely a hint at the iQOO 8's strong performance, although it's a poor translation.

According to previous rumours, the iQOO 8 would be the first to use the Snapdragon 888+ SoC with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. At the ChinaJoy conference, iQOO demonstrated 120W rapid charging, however, an unverified report suggests that it will truly support up to 160W.

The iQOO 8 will include a Samsung E5 LPTO AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, according to the tipster Digital Chat Station.

The display will be curved on the sides but flat on the bottom, as shown in the leaked photos. The selfie camera is located in a punch-hole cutout.

Given that the phone is only two weeks away from release, we anticipate seeing more comprehensive reviews very soon.
