Vivo has introduced the Y33s, a new low-cost smartphone in India. The phone has a 50MP primary camera, a big battery with quick charging, and the Helio G80 processor, and it is designed in the same style as previous Y series phones. It'll be available in other markets soon, although under a different name.

Display and Design Overview

The Y33s features a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display, a waterdrop notch at the top, and a thick bottom bezel. This panel has a 60Hz refresh rate, 401 PPI pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. On the side, the fingerprint sensor also serves as the power button.

Storage and Internals Overview

The phone's primary processor is the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage capacity. There is also a microSD card slot for expanding storage by up to 1TB. In terms of software, Vivo's Funtouch OS 11.1 supports the Android 11 operating system.

Camera Overview

The main camera has a 50MP resolution and is supported by two 2MP auxiliary modules for macro photos and depth data. This camera can capture 1080p as well as 4K video clips and includes EIS capability. The selfie camera with the waterdrop notch has a 16MP wide-angle sensor.

Pricing and Battery Overview

The large 5,000 mAh battery supports 18W rapid charging as well as reverse charging, allowing the phone to function as a power bank. The Vivo Y33S is now available in India for $242 in Mirror Black and Midday Dream. Pricing may vary somewhat in different markets.
