The "Xiaomi Mi Mix 4" will be released shortly. According to rumours, it will be released in China on August 10 and will be the first Xiaomi phone to include an under-display (UD) selfie camera, similar to the ZTE Axon 20/30.
The phone has emerged in another batch of leaked pictures ahead of its debut, showcasing its full-screen display owing to the UD camera sensor. These photos were allegedly taken from the supplier's plant.
Xiaomi is reported to be employing a new generation of UD cameras, with the sensor positioned in the middle. The bezels around the display are razor-thin, offering the phone a full-screen experience.
Because the phone has an under-display camera, adding 2K resolution was not possible. As a result, the phone's resolution is restricted to 1080p, although it is believed to be superior to standard FHD+ displays.
The additional display on the rear, near to the camera, is another intriguing feature. This concept is similar to the Mi 11 Ultra. However, the secondary screen on the Mi Mix 4 looks to be larger.
Previous rumours suggest that the Mi Mix 4 will include a curved OLED display with a high refresh rate, a "Snapdragon 888+ SoC", "12GB LPDDR5 RAM," and "512GB UFS 3.1" storage. Onboard will be a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W rapid charging. A 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto lens will be included in the camera system.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is set to launch on August 10, as previously said.
