WhatsApp will soon allow you to hide “Last Seen” from certain people.

We've all had those nosy individuals on our contact list who follow your "last seen" status on WhatsApp and nag you about it. WhatsApp has long allowed us to conceal our last seen from everyone, but the chat messenger will soon allow you to hide it just from certain individuals.
This forthcoming feature was discovered, as usual, by WABetaInfo, a tech site that discovers WhatsApp's planned features before they are published.
According to WABetaInfo research, WhatsApp is updating its privacy settings, and the first significant change is that we will soon be able to select privacy settings for individual contacts.
When it comes to your "last seen" status, WhatsApp now only provides you with three choices. You may choose to reveal your most recent sighting to everyone, only your contacts, or no one at all. You will, however, be able to conceal it from certain contacts with the next version. WhatsApp will soon introduce a new category to this list that will allow you to choose "my contacts except...", allowing you to select who you want to conceal it from.

The functionality is now available in WhatsApp beta versions for both iOS and Android, and we anticipate that it will be rolled out to both platforms shortly.
