The LPDDR5X memory standard was merely announced a day ago by JEDEC. Maximum RAM rates are increased from 6,400 Mbps to 8,533 Mbps, twice as fast as LPDDR4X.

According to early reports, the Xiaomi Mi 12 would be an early user of the LPDDR5X memory technology. According to reports, it will also be one of the first smartphones to use Qualcomm's next flagship processor, the Snapdragon 898.

The Snapdragon 898 will allow LPDDR5X RAM compatibility for flagship Android phones, whereas its predecessors only supported the LPDDR5 standard. This chipset will be the first in the series to be based on the new ARMv9 architecture, which will employ the all-new Cortex-X2, A710, and A510 CPU cores.

This indicates that we can expect more significant generational performance increases than in the past.

According to speculations, the Xiaomi Mi 12 series will have unrivaled specs. The range will reportedly include 200MP cameras, 200W quick charging, under-display cameras, and other features. It remains to be seen how much of this is accurate, so take this information with a grain of salt.

If Xiaomi follows the exact release timetable as the Mi 11, we may anticipate more comprehensive leaks by the end of the year.
