Xiaomi Civi was revealed during a launch event in China yesterday, along with a new wristwatch and a set of TWS earphones. The new wristwatch is a direct sequel to last year's Xiaomi Watch Color, but with a larger display and battery.

The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 has a circular 1.43" AMOLED screen with the same 326 PPI pixel density as the previous model. In addition, the metal bezel that surrounds the display is available in three colours and may be paired with over 200 watch faces and six strap colours (black, blue, white, green, yellow, orange).

The watch still runs Xiaomi's proprietary operating system, but it now supports third-party applications.

Unfortunately, it does not support Wear OS, but it does have all of the smartwatch functions, such as displaying phone alerts and answering calls over Bluetooth.

It has a water-resistant rating of 5 ATM, making it suitable for swimming and rain.

There are approximately 117 different sports modes, with 19 of them classified as professional. Dual-band GPS is used for outdoor tracking.

There is also support for 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood-oxygen (SpO2) readings, sleep tracking, and tracking of women's health.

You also get a somewhat larger battery, which is suitable for 30 hours of usage with GPS turned on. Without GPS, the watch has a battery life of 12 days, which may be extended to 24 hours by activating the extended mode.

The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 will be available for purchase later this week for $155.
