On Tuesday, former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir and former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh engaged in a heated Twitter spat. It all began when Amir made a snide remark about Harbhajan, remembering how India was humiliated by Pakistan on Sunday.

Amir inquired on Twitter whether Harbhajan had damaged his TV following a humiliating defeat in Dubai. The remark came in response to one of the former Indian player's many cocky statements on television.

In response, Harbhajan Singh provided a video from the 2010 Asia Cup in which he hit the fast bowler for a six to win the game: "Now you will also say things? Did this six land on your TV at home?"

Amir responded by posting a video of Shahid Afridi hitting Bhajji for four consecutive sixes.

Harbhajan resorted to a cheap blow and mocked Amir by bringing up his previous blunder, the notorious Lords spot-fixing episode in 2010.

Amir chastised Harbhajan for bringing his background into a Twitter debate, saying:

"Bare hi dheet ho talking about my past wouldn't change the fact that tumko 3 din pehle moun ki khani pari. and how about your illegal bowling action mate ab nikal or humko WC win karta dekh. walk over tu nhi mila jao Park me walk karo u'll feel better"

On television, Harbhajan Singh was one of several former Indian cricketers talking about their team ahead of the Pakistan-India match on Sunday. In one of his statements, he mocked former speedster, Shoaib Akhtar, claiming Pakistan cricket fans would have to shatter their TV sets following a thrashing at the hands of India. The exploits of Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan against India, on the other hand, have left these phony experts restless and itchy.
