The Google Pixel 6 Pro is anticipated to be the company's ultra-premium flagship phone. The device is anticipated to hammer all points, including a high refresh rate display, a flagship-grade SoC, a periscope camera, Android 12, a sleek design, and more.

A fresh exclusive leak from XDA Developers has revealed additional information about the forthcoming Pixel 6 Pro.

The leak comes from an unnamed source who provided pictures and other information straight from the Pixel 6 Pro.

First and foremost, the phone will no longer feature Active Edge, which means you will no longer be able to activate Google Assistant by squeezing the edges of the phone.

You can, however, pull up the Assistant by double-tapping on the rear of the phone, due to Android 12's Quick Tap function. Battery Share (reverse wireless charging) will be available as well.

The leaked images also demonstrate how the Pixel 6 Pro will support 120Hz refresh rates. The native resolution will be 1440p, and the refresh rate of 120Hz will function well with it.

However, it is uncertain if it will enable an adaptive refresh rate to conserve battery life.

Google is allegedly working on ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, which enables short-range wireless communication for accurate monitoring of adjacent objects.

Google intends to utilize this for digital vehicle key support, which will allow you to unlock your car with your phone through NFC or UWB. The Pixel 6 Pro will come with a digital vehicle key app preloaded.

The Pixel 6 will have a Samsung 5G modem that will allow mmWave 5G, at least in the United States.

The Pixel 6's release date is still unknown, although most rumors point to October. We hope to hear anything formal before the end of this month.
