Vivo is preparing to unveil its new flagship phones later this week. The Vivo X70 series will comprise the X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+. However, a fresh rumor suggests that another phone may be unveiled at this event.
A new Vivo smartphone with the model number V2130A has been discovered at the TENAA certification authority.
According to ITHome, this is the Vivo S10e, which will be released shortly after receiving a network access license in China.
The Vivo S10e, as the name suggests, will be a less expensive version of the high-end Vivo S10 series, which debuted in July of this year. The Dimensity 1100 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM powers the Vivo S10 and S10.
According to the TENAA filing, the S10e will have a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution.
The Dimensity 1100 chip will be replaced by the Dimensity 900, which will be available with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage choices.
The ad also includes pictures of the device, including a similar rectangular cutout for the primary camera arrangement.
A 64MP main sensor will be paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth unit in the camera configuration.
The front-facing camera will be a 32MP shooter with a punch-hole design. A 3,970mAh battery with 44W rapid charging capabilities should be enough.
The Vivo X70 will be on sale in the rest of the world on September 10, a day after it debuts in China. On the same day, the S10e is anticipated to be revealed.
