The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be available next week, on August 10, with the Mi Pad 5 series. The Chinese company has not made any formal announcements regarding the Mix 4, but the device has lately found its way around the Geekbench platform, disclosing important characteristics.

The Snapdragon 888+, an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 888, will power the Mi Mix 4. It will include a 12GB RAM option, although earlier leaks have indicated that an 8GB trim would also be available. The entry-level model will most likely be 8GB/256GB, but a 512GB model is also possible.

Some rumours suggested a secondary display on the rear, similar to the Mi 11 Ultra. However, a fresh leak contradicts this. This leak depicts a Mi Mix 4 poster. However, there is no additional screen on the rear. It does feature a large camera island on the back with what seems to be a periscope zoom lens.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is also said to have Xiaomi's first under-screen camera. The transparent-looking section on the ad looks to represent the display, indicating that it will be curved on the sides with minimal bezels and no punch-holes or cuts of any type, confirming the presence of an under-display camera.

The phone recently passed 3C certification, revealing 120W super-fast charging on top of a 4,500 mAH battery.

We'll learn more about the Mi Mix 4 next week, on August 10.
