Xiaomi intends to extend its Black Shark 4 gaming phone range with the Black Shark 4s and 4S Pro shortly. Last month, an announcement in a Chinese MOBA game disclosed this. Now, a well-known Weibo source has revealed potential Black Shark 4S Pro specifications. According to him, the new gaming phone would include a Snapdragon 888+ processor, a 144Hz AMOLED display, and class-leading 120W super fast charging. However, there have been no leaks of specifications for the standard Black Shark 4S.
The Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro, as the names suggest, will be an upgrade to the original Black Shark 4 range, which debuted in March of this year. However, we anticipate that the majority of the specs will be the same in the future versions, with the exception of a new chipset and minor feature improvements. The upgraded chipset in this instance will be the Snapdragon 888+, which has a slightly faster CPU and better AI capabilities than the regular Snapdragon 888.
To repeat, the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro have 6.67-inch AMOLED screens with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. In addition, the primary camera has a resolution of 48MP, while the selfie camera has a resolution of 20MP.
The Snapdragon 870 SoC is used in the basic model, while the Snapdragon 888 SoC is used in the Pro version. There is up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage available and a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W rapid charging capability. Xiaomi has not yet announced a release date for the new Black Shark variants.
