The Galaxy A12 has been reintroduced in Europe with an upgraded chipset. This time, it's named the Galaxy A12 Nacho, and it's powered by the Exynos 850 rather than the Helio P35 SoC; and the phone is identical to the original. The gadget will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz on the front.
This display will have curved sides and will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The major attraction, though, will be the under-screen selfie camera, new for Xiaomi.
It will also be water and dust resistant according to IP68 standards.
The Snapdragon 888+, an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 888, will be its core chipset. It will be equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The 5,000 mAh battery will enable cable charging at 120W and wireless charging at 50W. The primary camera on the rear will be a 108MP Sony HMX sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The secondary camera will be a 13MP free-form lens with a 120-degree field-of-view (FOV) and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS. Moreover, the selfie camera will have a resolution of 20MP.
There is no indication of a price, although earlier rumours have suggested it will be more expensive than the Mi 11 Ultra. Another rumour is that its primary camera arrangement would be identical to the Mi 11 Ultra, but it will lack a secondary screen.
